Services and Policies 
Technology and Equipment
- We have 3 public access computers. It is ten cents a page to print.
- We offer free Internet training, by appointment.
- We have free Wi-Fi access 24/7.
Collection
- We have many of the American Film Institutes top 100 movies of the
century on video. We have begun to convert our collection to DVDs.
- We have an eclectic collection of music on CD
- We will borrow books from other libraries within Vermont free of charge
- We have large print books and audio books on cassette and CD.
- If projected demand indicates we will order new books upon request
Services
- We offer notary services free of charge. Please call ahead.
- We offer free passes to area museums and historic sites. Please ask
for a copy of our museum pass program brochure for more information.
- Join us for free coffee and donuts on Saturday morning. Coffee compliments
of Vermont Coffee Company.
- We accept donations of used books, DVDs, and CDs. We do not take textbooks,
Reader's Digest Condensed Books, or books in very bad shape.
Lending Policy
- Loans are for two weeks; renewals are not allowed if someone is
waiting for the book
- We do not charge overdue fines. We have a donation jar on the desk.
- Beginning March 1, 2006 the DVD borrowing period will change to 5 days. Overdue DVDs will be accesssed 50 cents overdue fine per day. Money collected from overdue DVDs will
be used to purchase new DVDs.
- Staff members are not responsible for what individual patrons,
children in particular, borrow.
- People who do not pay taxes in the town of Bristol are charged out of
town fees based on resident tax support. Fees are currently $23.00
per year.
- You may renew books in person, by phone, or by e-mail.
